Hot on the Trail: The life-and-death realities of forensic medicine
Circle of Wellness
When one part of your life isn’t going well, the stress can throw your whole life out of balance—unless you take positive steps to round out your life.
Circle of Wellness is a new program from Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network that shows you how to enjoy more satisfaction in your life, even when some parts aren’t going well.
It’s easy to get started. Follow these five simple steps.
-
Step 1 - Know your own Circle of Wellness. Everybody’s life is different. Only you know which parts of your life are going well (the big “slices” of your Circle of Wellness) and which aren’t (the small ones).
-
Step 2 - Do something to make yourself feel better right away. Pick an activity from the big slices, because you know that will make you feel good.
-
Step 3 - Do one thing to make yourself feel better about the small areas. You don’t have to make a big change to feel better. You can do one thing for one day, or one week.
-
Step 4 - Make the Circle of Wellness work for you. Every day, use it to remind you of the best areas of your life—and the areas you hope will improve. Read Healthy You or click here for information on classes and activities that relate to each of the five areas of your Circle of Wellness.
-
Step 5 - After you’ve been using the Circle of Wellness, see what’s changed in your life by drawing a new one. Draw your own or print a copy off our web site. Decide what you want to improve now.
